Because of vacations and illnesses it had been a few weeks since our entire family had been to church. Because so many of the children are young, we knew that this might prove difficult to return to the routine. In order to help smooth the way for them, we all gathered in the livingroom to remind them what they will experience and what our expectations were. After what must have been a lengthy discussion, Curly Girly raised her hand to ask a question. Serious as she could be she asked, “Are we allowed to breathe?”
I had to laugh. Yes, there is such a thing as too much preparation.
